The Challenge

  • Take your chosen category and turn it into something completely your own.

  • Create an original LEGO® MOC (My Own Creation) that stands at least 36 inches / 3 feet tall.

  • Your build can be a character, scene, vehicle, structure, creature, display, or another creative interpretation of your category.

  • BE CREATIVE. THINK BIG. MAKE IT YOUR OWN.

  • Genuine LEGO® pieces only.

Build Solo. Build Together. Win Big.

  • Enter individually or team up with friends, family, or fellow LEGO® builders.

  • The winning creation will also be displayed at Block Party for one year.

  • For team entries, one person must be designated as the Primary Entrant / Team Captain.

  • One prize will be awarded per winning entry.

Progress Photos

  • SHOW US HOW IT'S COMING TOGETHER.

    • You do not need photos to enter.

    • But once you're in, progress photos are required throughout your build.

    • Show us your MOC from the first bricks to the finished creation.

    • After entering, you'll be able to submit your updates through our Progress Photo Submission Form.​

      • Progress photos may be featured on Block Party's website, social media, email, advertising and other promotional materials in accordance with the Official Contest Rules.

Are you entering individually or as a team?

Team

The Primary Entrant will serve as the main contact for the Contest and will be responsible for communications regarding the team's entry.

Important:

One prize will be awarded per winning entry.

If a team entry wins, the $500 Block Party gift card will be awarded to the designated Primary Entrant, who is responsible for distributing the prize among team members, if applicable.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT

Your MOC must:

  • Be an original MOC — My Own Creation

  • Be a character

  • Be at least 36 inches / 3 feet tall

  • Use genuine LEGO® brand bricks and pieces

  • Be built using LEGO® pieces supplied by the entrant/team

  • Not simply recreate an existing LEGO® set

  • Be suitable for public display

  • Be completed by the contest deadline

  • Include required progress photos throughout the building process


REAL LEGO® ONLY

All bricks and pieces used in your MOC must be genuine LEGO® brand products. Third-party compatible bricks or building elements are not permitted.

PROGRESS PHOTOS ARE REQUIRED

You do NOT need to submit progress photos with your initial contest entry.


After submitting your entry, you'll receive instructions and a link to submit your progress photos.


Your progress photos may be featured on Block Party's website, social media, email, advertising and other promotional materials in accordance with the Official Contest Rules.
